Warranty Policies and Practices:
1.1 Warranty Policy Introduction This publication explains warranty policies and practices for Ecotech Generator sets. Use this publication to determine warranty policies and procedures. Note: If a unit is received with items missing or not as ordered, dealers should contact the distributor and distributors should contact the Ecotech Generator sales coordinator. Provide unit model, serial number and the part number or specifics of missing or incorrect items.
1.2 Warranty Period: Standard 12 Months – 1000 Hours warranty ( Which ever comes first). You warranty shall commence on the date of the generator start up by an authorize certified technician.
1.3 The following will not covered by our warranty policies:
* Damages caused by accident, improper installations, faulty repair performed by an unauthorize techician.
* Unauthorize modification or hardware changes on the generator set.
* Insert incorrect Fuel, Engine oil or fluid.
* Installation / changes of unauthorize after- market parts.
* Damages during transporation of generator.
* Filter , Oil change & Service should be done at every 250 – 300 Hours after use of generator ( First service should be done after 50 – 100 hours of usage).
* Service done by unauthroize technician or late service after the required service intervals.
